IGBO (also know as Ibo) is one of the most popular African languages spoken by one of the largest single ethnic groups in Africa. Most Igbo speakers are based in southeastern Nigeria where an estimated 18-25 million speakers form about 17% of the population but it also spoken by significant numbers in Cameroon and other African countries. The language belongs to the Benue-Congo group of the Niger-Congo language family and the language itself is thought to have originated around the 9th century AD, near the confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers, before spreading to a wider part of southeastern Nigeria.

Shortly we shall be introducing the same course but delivered in a shorter space of time, as a 5 week course or, if you prefer, we also offer 1-2-1 intensive courses over a week.
